Mintec has received information indicating that Ukrainian ports, Reni and Izmail, have been the targets of drone attacks, although the available information is fragmented. Although the specifics of the attacks are incomplete, it has come to Mintec's attention that several grain storage areas have suffered damage, while others were ablaze but have since been extinguished by the Ukrainian fire service.

Currently, Mintec understands that the ports continue to operate, albeit with a degree of uncertainty. Nevertheless, there is substantial concern among market participants that potential shippers might be discouraged from utilising these ports due to recent events.

Mintec remains committed to providing updates on this situation as additional details come to light.
