Webinar: Global Packaging and Energy Market Update H2 2022

June 16, 2022

2 mins read

The global energy market is facing a historical crisis, with supply concerns continuously driving prices throughout 2022. Prices have more recently been exacerbated by the Russia-Ukraine geopolitical conflict due to high market uncertainty and further supply concerns.

This is impacting the whole of the food and non-food supply chains, with many producers facing significant financial challenges as a result. High input costs have driven packaging (paper, aluminium & plastics) prices to record highs, as energy is a key component of production. This is alongside additional supply constraints amid logistical disruption and inflationary pressure.

Mintec will be addressing these issues in a free webinar on 19th July 2022. The webinar will explore price movements over the last six months, exploring the key price drivers and the impact across the global supply chain. The commodities that will be covered in this session include crude oil, natural gas, electricity, paper, plastics & aluminium.

• Review of the price movements of the last six months
• Key price drivers and impact
• Price outlook for the next six months for packaging
• The impact high prices are having on the food supply chain

Join Mintec’s Analysts Alice Witchalls, Zanna Aleksahhina and Roxanne Nikoro for this webinar on 19th July 2022 at 9:00 AM CST | 10:00 AM EST | 3:00 PM BST.
