Mintec to Launch US Pecan Mintec Benchmark Prices

Following a period of market feedback, Mintec has decided to launch two monthly Mintec Benchmark Prices for pecans FOB US. The publication of the new assessments will start from Friday 29th September 2023.

The specifications for these assessments will be as below: 

The assessments will reflect the transactable value at 16:00:00 London time.   

The US is a major pecan exporter, and the assessments will provide Mintec subscribers with insight into two commonly traded grades of pecan kernels. This will further enhance market participants ability to manage risk and track price trends in the global nut markets.
