Mintec to launch Ukrainian Corn Mintec Benchmark Prices

Following a period of market feedback, Mintec has decided to launch weekly Mintec Benchmark Prices (MBP) for Ukrainian corn. The assessment will begin publication effective from Friday, 30th June 2023. The initial proposal was communicated in a market note which can be found here. 

The specification for this assessment will be as below: 

The assessment will reflect the transactable value at 16:00:00 London time. 

Ukraine is one of the world's most significant agricultural producers and exporters and plays a vital role in supplying corn to the global market. The assessment will provide Mintec subscribers with an independent FOB Benchmark for Ukrainian corn and provide Mintec subscribers additional granularity and insight into the global corn markets.
