Mintec to launch new monthly Mintec Benchmark Prices (MBP) for US Walnuts

Following a period of market feedback, Mintec has decided to launch two new monthly Mintec Benchmark Prices (MBP) for US walnuts. The new assessments will begin publication effective Tuesday 28 February 2023.

The new assessments will reflect the transactable value at 16:00: London time.

The new assessments will complement Mintec’s existing offering in the US walnut markets and provide customers with insight into two commonly traded grades of chandler walnut kernels. This will further enhance market participants ability to manage risk and track price trends in the nut markets.
