Mintec to launch High Fructose Corn Syrup and Dextrose Mintec Benchmark Prices

Following a period of positive market feedback, Mintec will launch new weekly Mintec Benchmark Prices (MBP) for high fructose corn syrup (42% and 55% dextrose equivalent) as well as dextrose (liquid and dry). The launch date for these series will be Wednesday, August 30th, 2023.

The assessments will reflect the transactable value every Wednesday at 16:00:00 US Eastern time.  

Due to the opaque nature of the US sugar and sweetener industry, reliable benchmarks are difficult to find. The complex nature of the industry, with high levels of trade protectionism and variable input costs, has led to high demand for such benchmarks. These Mintec Benchmark Prices will provide an independent reference point for the industry.
