Mintec to launch Chinese & Malaysian Palm Oil Derivative MBP

Following a period of market feedback, Mintec will launch weekly Mintec Benchmark Prices (MBP) for Palm Kernel Olein RBD FOB Malaysia and Palm Olein RBD CFR China. The launch date will be Thursday, 21st September 2023.

The assessments will reflect the transactable value at 16:00:00 London time.

Palm oil is one of the most widely used oils in the world, having both significant food and industrial applications. The palm oil derivative assessments will complement Mintec’s existing palm oil coverage by providing Mintec subscribers additional granularity and information for the global palm oil markets.
