Mintec to launch Argentinian Corn Mintec Benchmark Prices

Following a period of market feedback, Mintec has decided to launch weekly Mintec Benchmark Prices (MBP) for Argentinian corn. The assessment will begin publication effective from Friday, 15th September 2023. The initial proposal was communicated in a market note which can be found here.

Argentina is the third largest corn exporter and plays a vital role in supplying corn to the global market. The assessment will provide additional granularity to Mintec’s existing global corn coverage and allow Mintec subscribers to compare prices between reliable benchmarks for major producing and exporting countries.
