Mintec launches Serbian IQF Raspberry & IQF Blackberry Mintec Benchmark Prices

Following a period of market feedback, Mintec has launched five monthly Mintec Benchmark Prices (MBP) for Serbian IQF raspberries and one IQF blackberry (MBP). 

The initial proposal to launch this assessment was announced in a market note published on 31st August 2023 which can be found here. The decision to go ahead with the launch was communicated in a market note on 15th September 2023, which can be found here.

The assessments reflect the transactable value at 16:00:00 London time.

Serbia is a major exporter of IQF berries supplying volumes into both the US & Europe. The assessments provide Mintec subscribers an independent benchmark for Serbian IQF berries in what is traditionally a very opaque market. Mintec’s offering of reliable and transparent pricing for this market will have a significant, positive impact on market transparency.
