Estimates for March almond shipments were reported in the range of 240-270 million pounds, with most market participants returning figures of 245-255 million pounds. If realised, a figure of 250 billion pounds would be the second highest shipment figure for March and only 6% below the previous record of 267 million pounds in March 2021. “I’m expecting to see a strong shipment number, but low commitments in the position report.
