Mintec to launch Turkish dairy Mintec Benchmark Prices

Following a period of market feedback, Mintec has decided to launch two monthly Turkish dairy Mintec Benchmark Prices (MBP). The new monthly assessments will begin publication effective Wednesday, 31st May.

The initial proposal was announced in a market note published on 6th April 2023, which can be viewed here.

The assessments will reflect the transactable value at 16:00:00 London time.

Turkey is a major dairy producer and key exporter into price-sensitive markets. The launch of the new assessments will provide greater clarity into price movements within the Turkish dairy markets. Additionally, the launch of these assessments will allow for Mintec customers to better understand global dairy market dynamics by benchmarking Turkish prices for two key export products against the other major exporting countries.
