Mintec to Launch Three New US Walnut Assessments

Following market feedback, Mintec has decided to launch three new monthly Mintec Benchmark Prices for different grades of Chandler & non-Chandler walnuts. These new assessments will begin publication effective 29th October 2021.

The specifications for the new assessments are as below:

The assessments will reflect the transactable value at 16:00 London time for the prices of a 40ft container of walnuts on a per pound basis. This will provide additional pricing information for the US walnut market, providing Mintec clients with a set of independent price benchmarks for the world’s largest walnut exporting country.
