The assessments will begin publication effective from **Tuesday, 26th September 2023.** The initial proposal was communicated in a market note which can be found [here](https://www.mintecglobal.com/mintec-proposes-to-launch-china-delivered-sunflower-oil-and-rapeseed-oil-mintec-benchmark-prices?hsLang=en). China is one of the largest global importers of vegetable oils including sunflower oil and rapeseed oil. The assessments will allow Mintec subscribers to monitor prices for one of the world’s largest importers and provide a more granular look at the global vegetable oil markets.
