Mintec is proposing to launch these assessments, if supported by the industry, on Tuesday 26 September 2023. The proposed specification for this assessment would be as below: ![US Soymeal](https://www.mintecglobal.com/hs-fs/hubfs/US%20Soymeal.jpg?width=963&height=83&name=US%20Soymeal.jpg) The proposed assessment would reflect the transactable value at 16:00:00 London time. Soybean meal is commonly used as a protein source in animal feed and the US is a major producer and exporter. The proposed assessment would complement Mintec’s existing soybean meal coverage and allow for additional granularity of comparison between major exporting origins.
