Mintec proposes to launch Ukrainian Corn Mintec Benchmark Price

Mintec is proposing to launch weekly Mintec Benchmark Prices (MBP) for Ukrainian corn and is collecting feedback from market participants in the grains markets until Thursday, 15th June 2023.

If the industry supports this proposal, Mintec suggests launching this assessment on Friday, 30th June 2023.

The proposed specification for this assessment would be as below:

The proposed assessment would reflect the transactable value at 16:00:00 London time.

Ukraine is one of the world's most significant agricultural producers and exporters and plays a vital role in supplying corn to the global market. The proposed assessment would provide Mintec subscribers with an independent FOB Benchmark for Ukrainian corn and provide Mintec subscribers additional granularity and insight into the global corn markets.
