Mintec proposes to launch Soybean and Rapeseed CPT Ukraine Mintec Benchmark Prices

Mintec is proposing to launch weekly Mintec Benchmark Prices (MBP) for Soybean and Rapeseed CPT Ukraine and is collecting feedback from market participants in the oilseed markets until Monday 11 September 2023.

Mintec is proposing to launch these assessments, if supported by the industry, on Tuesday 26 September 2023.

The proposed specifications for these assessments would be as below:

The proposed assessments would reflect the transactable value at 16:00:00 London time.

Ukraine is one of the world's most significant agricultural producers and exporters and plays a vital role in supplying oilseeds and vegetable oils to the global market. The proposed assessments would complement Mintec’s existing Ukranian oilseed coverage and provide independent benchmarks for two commonly traded products.
