Palm oil is one of the most widely used oils in the world having both significant food and industrial applications. The launch of these new Mintec Benchmark Prices for palm oil fractions would allow the comparison between other palm-based products such as crude palm oil and would mean the industry would have access to independent price assessments and market information if supported by the industry.
