Mintec launches Turkish hazelnut Benchmark Prices

Mintec has launched two weekly Mintec Benchmark Prices for Turkish origin hazelnuts, kernel size 13/15mm, effective Wednesday 31st May, 2023.

Turkey is the largest exporter of hazelnuts and Mintec already assesses Mintec Benchmark Prices for Turkish origin hazelnut kernels sized 11-13mm, which are smaller in size to the new assessments. Kernels sized 13/15mm are commonly traded and the assessments complement Mintec’s existing offering and provide Mintec customers a detailed look at the price differentials between the two major size grades of hazelnut kernels.
