The new assessment can be found in the Mintec Analytics platform under code [DA01](https://www.mintecanalytics.com/workspace/commodity/DA01). The decision to launch this new assessment was first communicated to the market on 8 October 2021 and followed extensive research and market feedback after a proposal to publish this price was issued on 23 September 2021. The assessment reflects the transactable value at 16:00 London time on a Wednesday for the prices of a 20ft container of no.4 sulphured dried apricots on a per metric tonne basis. This provides additional information for the Turkish apricot market and acts as an independent price benchmark for one of the most traded specifications of dried apricots in the retail packing market and thus provides greater granularity and price transparency for dried fruit market participants.
