The new assessments can be found in the Mintec Analytics platform with the following specifications and codes: Walnut Chandler Light Halves & Pieces 20% FAS US (MBP) [[Mintec Code: WAL1](https://www.mintecanalytics.com/workspace/commodity/wal1)] Walnut Chandler Light Halves & Pieces 80% FAS US (MBP) [[Mintec Code: WAL2](https://www.mintecanalytics.com/workspace/commodity/wal2)] Walnut non-Chandler Light Halves & Pieces 20% FAS US (MBP) [[Mintec Code: WAL3](https://www.mintecanalytics.com/workspace/commodity/wal3)] The decision to launch these new assessments was first communicated to the market on 8 October 2021 and followed extensive research, market feedback and a proposal market note published on 23 September 2021. These series provide additional pricing information for the US walnut market, enabling Mintec clients to benchmark and risk manage with a set of independent price benchmarks for the world’s largest walnut exporting country.
