Mintec launches Four Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil assessments

Mintec has launched four weekly Mintec Benchmark Prices (MBP) for Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil effective Friday, March 31st, 2023.

Organic extra virgin olive oil’s market share is growing, as consumers look to pesticide-free food items. However, the organic olive oil market is opaque, with little pricing and market information available. The launch of these new Mintec Benchmark Prices helps to address this issue and provides an independent reference point for the industry.
