The discontinuation was first proposed in a market note published on 11 February 2021 and during the market consultation process Mintec received no opposing feedback to the proposed change. The current COPF series is almost identical in specification to the existing Mintec Benchmark Price for Cocoa Powder EXW Western Europe (MBP) with the code COPL, therefore removing one assessment allows for greater customer clarity. For comparison below are the series names, codes and specification details for the discontinued series and the series suggested as an alternative: ![](https://www.mintecglobal.com/hubfs/image-png-Apr-13-2021-05-19-28-38-PM.png) Please send any feedback to [Methodology@mintecglobal.com](mailto:Methodology@mintecglobal.com) and clearly state which market note your comments relate to, and if comments are intended for publication by Mintec.
